🚕 Project Overview

Mycab is a modern ride-hailing solution designed to bridge the gap between complex navigation and user simplicity. In a market saturated with cluttered interfaces, Mycab stands out by prioritizing speed, clarity, and safety. This project focuses on a seamless end-to-end journey—from the first onboarding screen to the final drop-off.

🎯 The Challenge

Most taxi apps overwhelm users with too many options on the home screen. My primary goal was to reduce cognitive load and decision fatigue. Users need to book a ride in under three taps, especially when they are in a hurry or in high-stress environments.

💡 The Solution: Minimalist Efficiency

I developed a "Map-First" architecture that ensures the user's location is always the focal point. By using a clean, high-contrast color palette (Electric Blue and Deep Slate), the interface remains legible even in bright sunlight or low-light night conditions.

Key Features:

1. Intuitive Onboarding: A welcoming, illustrative start that explains the value proposition instantly.

2. Smart Ride Selection: Categorized vehicle types (Normal, Economy, Comfort) with transparent pricing and estimated arrival times.

3. Real-Time Tracking: A high-precision map interface that provides live updates on driver location, vehicle details, and estimated time of arrival (ETA).

4. One-Tap Cancellation: Reducing friction and anxiety by making trip management straightforward.
   
   

🎨 Visual Identity

• Typography: I chose a geometric Sans-Serif for its modern feel and high readability across mobile devices.

• Color Palette: A vibrant Blue (#0066FF) to evoke trust and reliability, paired with soft grays for a premium aesthetic.

• Iconography: Custom-designed, thick-stroke icons to ensure touch targets are easily identifiable.
